"Matinee" - a Book Club Evening with Matthew Rice
The Book Club invites you to "Matinee" - an evening with local poet Matthew Rice. Matthew will read from a sequence of sonnets that recount elements of his childhood and formative years through the prism of twelve films that made an impression on him growing up, commenting also on how one art form can inspire the other. 7pm.
