Club Bar Opening hours

• Sunday 4.00 pm 7.00 pm
• Wednesday 8.00 pm 11.00 pm. (not open on Christmas Day 2024 or on New Years ay 2025)
• Friday 5.00 pm 9.00 pm.
• Saturday 5.00 pm 8.00 pm.

(NOTE : Saturday closing 8.00 pm except on Event nights)

An Event is typically planned at least one per month on a Saturday evening.

Club is closed : Monday, Tuesday & Thursday (open Christmas Eve & New Year's Eve -both Tuesdays!)

Throughout the sailing season the Club may be accessed between 9.00am & 11.00pm using the Secure Key-fob to utilise the facilities on the following days : Sunday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.

Registration of Clubs Act

PERSONS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE IN REGISTERED CLUBS ARTICLES 32 35

CAYC is registered under "Sporting Clubs" enabling families to be together in the General room during the afternoon and the early evening opening hours of the bar facility.

However, we must remind parents that Children are not permitted in the General Room after 9.00 pm (the exception is only if a meal has been served which extends this time to 9.30 pm)

Other exceptions :

• a) where a person is working in the bar area of a sporting club under a contract of service or under an approved training scheme or in a placement scheme as part of a further or higher education course
• b) if a person is only passing through a bar area of any club as a convenient means of getting to or from an unrestricted area;

After 9.00 pm under 18s are permitted to use several other areas of the club, the Committee Room, or ground floor Training Room, whilst their parents are in the General Room.
