Race Night fundraiser in aid of the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal

We want to maximise our fundraising opportunity whilst having a little fun along the way. There will be 6 Races with 8 Runners in each. As this is a fundraising event, 50% of each bet and winnings will be held back

Before the races, why not sponsor a runner for £10? If the Horse wins the Race, you will win £15

How?

If you are new to betting, it may at first seem complicated the following guidance is provided to help you;

BOOKMAKER: The person who offers to takes bets, pays the winnings.

PUNTER: Someone who places a bet.

ODDS: The ratio of the winnings to the stake.

WINNINGS: The amount won if successful.

PLACED: A horse that comes in the top two.

EACH WAY: A bet in which odds are reduced because the punter chooses to bet that a horse will be placed rather than an outright winner.

BETTING OPTIONS: You may bet on each horse in one of the two ways.

WIN: If the horse that you bet on wins the race then you will receive the return of your initial stake plus the stake times the odds. The Total pay-out will be halved with the 50% input to the fund for DEC.

EACH-WAY 1-2: If the horse that you back comes either first or second you win the return of the stake plus the stake times half the odds. The Total pay-out will be halved with the 50% input to the fund for DEC.
