CAYC's Water Fest
Published 12:15 on 11 Jul 2024
Tickets are now available for Water Fest 2024, supported by Ryobi Aluminium Castings UK Ltd
Head over to the event page to book your spot. One entry fee covers all these water activities - kayak and paddleboard races for children and adults, along with dinghy taster sessions. No kayaks or SUPs are available to hire on the day - please bring your own!
A new addition to Water Fest this year is yacht taster sessions - we have partnered with WaveRides Belfast to offer a taster (1.5hrs) of what it might be like to do a day sail or courses with them. They are a successful RYA yachting school based at Carrickfergus Marina Belfast and have a reputation for providing friendly, helpful and expert tuition. All of this onboard a fast cruiser Sigma 400 with 3 cabins and a saloon.
The Wee Sauna are coming along to offer a toasty way to warm up following time on the water! Normally at Ballygally and Portmuck every weekend, this is a special opportunity to give it a go in Whitehead.
All funds raised during Water Fest will go the Carrickfergus and Whitehead branch of the RNLI - 2024 is the 200th anniversary of the RNLI volunteer organisation. Any additional donations onshore will be very welcome.
We will also have a BBQ at the Club all afternoon, outside refreshments and music.
