Calum Pollard - Topper 4.2 World Champion!

Three CAYC members made the journey to Lake Garda in Italy to compete in the 2022 Topper World Championships. Rory Pollard had a great Championship getting into Gold Fleet. Friday, DSQ at the fault of the Jury gave him a maximum point score. Getting stuck between the Pelar and the Ora shift today meant he got into somewhere he couldn't get out of. He's had an unreal week though and carded great results. Well done Rory!

Luke Simpson qualified for the gold fleet and finished the championship in 22nd place. An amazing achievement. Well done Luke!

Calum Pollard had an incredible week, retaining the gold bib in the 4.2 fleet from day 2 and secured first place after the last day of sailing yesterday. We have a new World Champion!!! Congratulations Calum!
