Walkers & Kayakers are to meet at slip at 9:45 for 10.00 am on the water.
Rendezvous on back shore about 11ish. Bring a flask, camping gas, sausages etc for a wee fry and a brew.

(Ramblers to meet up with Kayakers at the small pebble beach just beyond Blackhead, accessible for ramblers via Port Rd. From the club this is a distance for ramblers of about 3.5 miles, mostly footpath, however the last 500m is a single track road with no footway. Access to the pebble beach is via a rough track of about 50m.)

Coastal Rowing Whitehead
Over 60 people registered interest in this initiative at the Victorian Fair. The Committee are progressing plans to meet 2018 season.

This will be probably quite squelchy and muddy in places. Unfortunately, no dogs on this particular planned route.

It’s only 11km and it’s a linear track so we’d have to be imaginative around transport at each end but all of those things can be managed if we’re up for it.
