We meet on Wednesday at 8.30 to discuss Thelma’s book choice, The Forgotten Seamstress by Liz Trenow.

Club Bar – Opening hours

Sunday        4.00 pm – 7.00 pm last orders. (Club secured by 8.00pm)

Wednesday  8.00 pm – 11.00 pm.

Friday          6.00 pm – 11.00 pm.

Saturday      5.00 pm – 8.00 pm.

(NOTE : Closing 8.00 pm except on Event nights) An Event is planned at least once per month on a Saturday evening.

One Show Film

Back in November the BBC One Show came to Whitehead to film.

Update from Rosemary Baker-Researcher – The One Show

They have now finished editing the People Finding film they shot at the Club in November, and it’s due to go out as a one-parter on the first programme of the New Year, Monday 4 January (7pm BBC1). This was reuniting a local girl from July 1970 with the people she saved from drowning in Whitehead Bay.

Tickets will be on sale at £17:50 per head. Limited to 54.

First week of sale will be exclusively to Members only and 2nd week open to Guests, this is due to the popularity of this event.

Tickets must be paid for on collection to ensure accurate numbers are maintained. Thank you.

Choice of soup or prawn cocktail starter and Christmas pudding or pavlova dessert. You can guess what the main course is !
