Chris Livingstone along with a small group of enthusiasts regularly plan “paddles”
Joining the WhatsApp group is the most effective method to confirm given weather conditions can spoil the best laid plans.

Dates : 7&8 June 2014 – £90 plus £5 for Certificate

These courses will be either 1 star for beginners and those wishing for a refresher course
or 2 star for those wishing to improve their skills, confidence and capability.
There is also a possibility of running a foundation Safety and Rescue (1 day course) course which will address skills required in rescue situations etc..

The Club also opened the facilities to John Hubbocks who brought kayaers down to Whitehead training on a couple of Wednesday nights during the summer.
Regular trips and short paddles in the bay took place throughout the season.
CANI course – shore based was held on Wednesday 30 March 2011 : approx 6.30 pm

23 /24 April 2011 & 14/15 May 2011are the scheduled dates for two courses. Cost for these 1 star courses is £80. Applications will be accepted from age10 upwards. You will gain experience in a Candian Canoe & a Kayak.
