Portmuck BBQ

Thursday 12 July 2018

This event is also in recognition of the volunteer effort within the CAYC.

Rescheduled from June date.

Family day out. Sailing, Coastal Rowing, kayaking, powerboating, windsurfing, swimming, fishing and the odd sandcastle keeps everyone amused.

You don’t need to bring much with you (maybe a boat) as the Club will organise the BBQ with drinks and crisps etc. This year’s costs will be subsidised by the award above.

Help is required with some of the Club boats (Pico & Topper) and we generally aim to leave the club at approx 1.00 pm

Contact sail.secretary@cayc.co.uk if you can help with BBQ rota and towing Club boats to Portmuck. ( Ben / Peter)

Picnic Paddle to Portmuck

As part of our funding award to refurbish Beach Road we committed to have a paddle event each year open to club members and non club members. The paddle to Portmuck on Thursday 12 July is hopefully this year’s event and it would be great to get a good turnout from club members on the day.
So if you completed a course this year or last please try to come along. If you don’t have a kayak then we can maybe sort out loan boats.
Contact Chris Livingstone 07803 136445 / David Jamison 07595 894561 for further details.
